It is a popular street food in Trinidad& Tobago. The best way to eat a doubles is fresh, hot and at the side of the road.
It can be wrapped for take away but would never taste the same. Below is a Map of Doubles, these vendors are known to have the best tasting doubles in Trinidad and Tobago. Have you eaten from any? Is there better doubles out there? You tell me! Eating one now? On your way to get doubles? Post a picture of you eating doubles the way trinbagonians know best.
I just read about gluten free doubles… made with almond flower and coconut oil. Have you tried it? How does it compare to the standard doubles?
ReplyDeleteDebe has real good doubles too! Make a trip down south and try it. They have several grate vendors but I prefer Ali's.

ReplyDeleteAgree about longest line
ReplyDeleteI remember vividly waiting in line for doubles by UWI...but now when I visit I go where my lil sis recommends...bcuz she is about the food! Loved eating from SAUCE in Curepe Junction and another friend took me down south on our way to Chatham that was pretty good as well.
